1.
There's a house in my dreams Blue as the sky, with a trail to the sea Deep in color as waves crashed in sync I follow the sand, day in and day out Graze the grass poking out Like dead after the war The ocean mirrored the storm Far out where mountains were tamed By waves that grew with the thunders note Violent in all that is calm, tender for something so strong I wait for the rain to take charge See the fresh meet the sea And vanish into the salt She floats there above cloak n all Face never shown, no mask just gone I know her well No name to the touch Just a feeling I longed to be A fire in the sand It's something I can't stop chewing Gristle I can't seem to spit out This house that's ever present This grass whose bloods been shed The sea that meets the storm And her fire in the sand

I saw it in golden lights A smoke that makes the windows bind Drifting in and out of sleep Shadows moving from the space they keep Dancing as the light fights them off As the glass beneath caved at the thought The sun glowed through the gaps tween my fingers So small against my hand Heavy on my shoulders Clothes pasted onto the backs of a child's laugh The smell of summer rang As if it had never left There's something in the way of what's right A smudge on a photograph Mistaken for ghosts at night White ribbons of light that said they were there Empty in the eyes but full in stare There's a heart attack in that glare Golden grass that waves in the air There's a ghost on that face Wiped off to keep things safe

Zwei Hände 03:10
There was a hand in hand A drive through the dark from some distant land I felt the piercing light off the back of my head I wish that I could see her bare As a wisp of smoke at the foot of the bed Cocked with a smirk that says "Don't I dare" Dare to give Trip my feet over the roots Tongue out with no hands to catch Hit the pavement in the winter sun There was flow, effortless in it's challenge A silence fearful that there'd be no calm Just a laugh at a joke A story retold more often than thought It was given no name just a feeling A sense of belonging Warmth where the cold had left Honey in milk for a sweetened tongue And whispers softly spoken
4.
There was panic in the ice Islands drifting across a frozen lake Reflections disturbed in a morning light A monument in it's awee there was a sense of calm Something to fall into Too much to not say and nothing to say I closed what I could Jokes never in jest Words between mouths in a state of unrest It's slow in decay The snake in my boot tightens And the shake in my knee kicks the air I've been bit by a memory Armed with a gun that's too drunk to stand up Uneducated, and not withdrawn A dimple placed into head by thumb Eyes crossed, and stretched thin The ice that morning remains clear Split in the water like curds from the whey The memory went off a bat out of hell Towering above the town Stronger than all eyes could muster Brittle in it's composure

about

Ambient pieces.

I've also written a poem for each piece. I wrote them while listening back to these tracks just to give another method of getting to the headspaces that I'm trying to communicate through these pieces.

I hope you enjoy it.
